Spring/Summer 2008 Class Schedule

5 Week Beginning Bonsai Class

Wednesdays, October 8, 2008 6:00-9:00 p.m.

This class is for those who have always wanted to make a bonsai and learn how to take care of it and for those wanting a firm foundation in the basics. We will cover beginning bonsai techniques for artistically creating and maintaining indoor and outdoor bonsai, including the aesthetics of bonsai, history, pot selection, soils used, identification of appropriate plant material, shaping, wiring and horticultural needs. We will be using Japanese Procumbens Juniper (Green Mound Juniper). All supplies necessary to create a bonsai that you take home are provided.
Cost: $60.00
