Our Joshua Roth Japanese Saws all cut primarily on the Pull Stroke, as opposed to conventional push stroke saws. Cutting on the pull stroke prevents the blade
from bending, reducing binding, improves smoothness of the cut and gives you more control. Our Japanese pruning saws not only cut on the pull stroke but feature
impulse-hardened blades which, typically, last 3 times longer than standard, non-hardened blades. Synthetic rubber handle grips, when provided, lessen fatigue
by reducing vibration and tendency to slip. Our folding pruning saws also have "Positive Safety Latches", which keep folding
saw blades locked while in use. Triple-edge teeth plug up less and are easier to clean.
